... I can't seem to use my magic. This could cause a problem. There was a surge of energy when the Keepers crash-landed. Perhaps it acted like some sort of magnetic pulse, the sort that would damage electronics... This is interesting; I seem to have acquired someone else's knowledge. Well, we'll see if I can't do something useful with it. Hmm... if I have someone else's knowledge, presumably one of the other residents has my magic... If that's the case, they'll most likely need a spellbook. State of Mind: impressed |

Why in the world is there a bottle of enchanted tea in the refrigerator? Surely it couldn't be mine or Elise's; the aura seems familiar, but the magic involved is... Oho. Very nice. *it's about at this point that he goes back and screens it* Quite an impressive enchantment, whoever did this; then again, judging from the power involved, I shouldn't expect less from a god. Not particularly subtle from my point of view, but most of the compound can't detect magic. One would expect this sort of thing closer to Valentine's Day, admittedly, but it's quite amusing nonetheless. I think there's a compulsion beyond the main effect here? Probably to get around people realizing that they didn't have a bottle of tea in their fridge in the first place, I shouldn't wonder... State of Mind: amused |

Well, it seems it's that time of year again. Most of the compound's getting nauseatingly sentimental and the most cynical ones or those who've lost someone important and aren't comfortable being weepy are just getting irritable. I doubt the recent round of disappearances has helped much. I wonder if I could manage that trick with the mistletoe Yuuko did last year... State of Mind: cheerful |

... I truly am sorry that the spell failed. I could hazard a few possible explanations, but I doubt those would interest you. [Private//Hackable]Either this world or hers has an insufficient link to the Astral Plane, it seems - or they don't share the same Astral Plane. I'd heard of the idea of reaching different worlds with entirely different sets of planes through the Plane of Shadow. Perhaps this could be a case like that. Or perhaps the Indigeo or the Keepers blocked it somehow. The Indigeo has incredible control over the compound, it's not outside the realm of possibility that something along those lines could occur. To the girl I promised to attempt to find her... creatures. I'm ready to perform the summons, and I suspect you'd prefer to be present. It might make things easier as well, even with the "pokeballs" as foci. However, I'll caution you once again: this may not succeed. The spell operates through the Astral Plane - and I"m unsure of how feasible connecting to it is either from here or in your world. Hopefully, the spell will work, but be prepared if it does not. A masterful illusion. Even I was completely taken in. Though I have to say I'm not too thrilled about it happening. I can't say I'm not glad it did turn out to be an illusion, though. I wasn't looking forward to seeing the Demonweb again - Lolth can't have been too pleased with my absence. Mercury? Elise? Skuld? Azula? I take it Alice and I aren't the only ones who've been resurrected? State of Mind: relieved |

It seems Link has left us... A pity. I'd grown rather used to having him around. I suppose this means I still have a bedroom to myself after all. ( Read more... )... I hope this is over soon, it's hard to speak when you're expecting to burst into song at any moment. I believe I heard tell that this was your doing, Zoisite? Well, that's over with, at least. Looking like Danifae was not a pleasant way to spend a few days. Then again, I wouldn't particularly like to be female in any circumstances, except insofar as it means I'm entitled to order everyone else around. That part I can certainly live with. [Private//Unhackable]I don't know what happened between Mercury and Kunzite, but as depressed as it's left Mercury I'd rather like to find out so I know how much of it to blame on him. She said she'd betrayed him... the Kunzite from her world, I'd assume. Well, that I can understand. [/Private]EDIT It appears I neglected to mention that we have a new roommate. It's a pleasure to meet you. Pharaun Mizzrym, formerly Master of Illusions at Sorcere, at your service. ((OOC: Icon appears as "Sexeh Drow" and mood as "relaxed."))State of Mind: morose |

It seems likely to be another routine day... Nauzrhor is beginning to get above himself. I shall have to keep a close watch on him... And the young Baenre as well, Prath. He was far too loyal to old Gromph; I don't doubt that he would be only too glad to see the Baenre back in power, with children of House Mizzrym leading both Sorcere and Arach-Tinilith. Ah, well. I still say that it's a pity my predecessor's chambers collapsed upon his death; they were a masterpiece of enchantment. With any luck my own will be finished soon. Which reminds me... I really must tell the students to practice further away from the temple. We have places to practice within the tower for a reason, and having Sabal execute them is beginning to get tiresome, not to mention the constant noise of the repairs. Honestly, and they complained that I lost too many students... And one of these days I'll have to get out of the habit of talking to myself like this. ((OOC: Pharaun will assume any replies to this are message spells being sent to him; he doesn't realize the messenger is on, or indeed even there.))State of Mind: good |

*a sizzling noise* Hmm... Well, anyone who intended to cook a dish involving tomatoes has enough raw material to feed the compound for several days. Someone's been mucking around with transmutation spells, haven't they? I see no other possible way the compound could suddenly be full of these creatures. I suppose I shall have to get new boots now. *a rambling phrase in an incomprehensible tongue* *a whoomph! noise and more sizzling* It actually smells surprisingly pleasant. If one likes tomatoes. Apparently quite a few people are no longer able to lie. That could prove to be quite inconvenient... Especially since inability to lie appears to include a compulsion to tell things one would rather keep secret. *mutters* Gods, I wish Sabal was here. Or Ryld. Hells, even Aliisza, though I suspect she'd cause no end of trouble, especially with Mercury, Yuuko, and Hiiragi.... That could be very inconvenient indeed. State of Mind: embarrassed |

I've heard we have some new arrivals. Another Kunzite among them. I'm sure Mercury must be thrilled. And another Jadeite as well. Oh, yes, Mistress Beryl. I suppose I ought to apologize for my behavior earlier. I'm afraid I couldn't really avoid being childish at the time. However, I still maintain that I am not a subject of yours. Ah, Hiiragi? ...
